David Miscavige
09.26.06 (11:11 pm)   [edit]
Mr. David Miscavige is Chairman of the Board of Religious Technology Center.

His role in Scientology is very well explained on the Religious Technology Center web site.

It states: "RTC holds the ultimate ecclesiastical authority regarding the standard and pure application of L. Ron Hubbard’s religious technologies. Religious Technology Center is not part of the management structure of the Church, nor is it involved in the Church’s day-to-day affairs."

It goes on to say: "The Chairman of the Board is the most senior office in RTC, and one for which David Miscavige is uniquely qualified. An active Scientologist for most of his life, he first became a Church staff member in 1976 and has since been involved with nearly every aspect of the Church’s activities."

Back to School
09.26.06 (11:04 pm)   [edit]
By now, the novelty is off being back to school, and kids are starting to act up and get in trouble again.

Unfortunately, that means a lot more kids being unneccessarily and falsely diagnosed labeled as ADD or ADHD.

Did you know that psychs simply voted ADD and ADHD into existence?

It doesn't exist.

If you read what L. Ron Hubbard discovered, which he called "The Barriers to Study" you will see in the description everything most teachers run into in the classroom.

And it doesn't require hours and hours of study to learn these barriers. And it doesn't require dangerous drugs to get it under control.

The Jive Aces
09.26.06 (10:18 pm)   [edit]
The Jive Aces are the most enthusiastic group of guys you'll ever meet.

They are terrific entertainers.

And they are 100% committed to helping kids stay off drugs.

They take their responsiblity as role models to their fans really seriously in that regard.

There's a piece about a recent concert they did on the Scientology News web site.

Where in the World?
09.17.06 (12:12 am)   [edit]
When I first hear about Scientology I was just out of college and I ran into a bunch of people, where I was going to graduate school, who were either Scientologists or know Scientologists or their brother of best friend on next-door-neighbor was a Scientologist.

But that was a real oddity because really, at that time (more than 30 year ago), it wasn't well known at all.

Now you'd be hard pressed to go anywhere in the world where people hadn't heard about it.

I love reading the news on the Scientology News Site of the work people are doing in far-flung lands (far flung to me, living in LA). For example, just today there's a story about Scientology Volunteer Ministers in India, Fiji and Brazil, and a Scientology Mission in Central Russia!

What does your religion mean to you?
09.13.06 (5:38 pm)   [edit]
As you can tell by the name of my blog, and the postings I've done, my religion is a central part of my life. That doesn't mean I spend all day praying. It means that I use it all the time. Because Scientology is a very practical religion, and it is for USE.

And the best news is that Scientology WORKS.

Because it's a technology that helps people become more able, happier, more self-confident and more aware.

People ask me how they should find out about Scientology and I always tell them they should read a book by L. Ron Hubbard.

That is actually what Ron suggests too!

By reading a book, it gives you a chance to really learn first hand what Scientology is. L. Ron Hubbard books are incredible for the insight they give you into life and the practical tools they provide.

Sorry. I'm not usually a sucker for baby pictures. But these I couldn't resist! What a family!

9/11 Revisited
09.08.06 (5:30 pm)   [edit]
It has been five years since 9/11.

The tragedy caused by a handful of terrorists has affected many millions of people, with two wars, increased surveilance and security measures, greatly increased terrorism and the general feeling of a lack of safety.

This has affected the human rights of all concerned.

It is also an indictment of the world powers whose product should be something like a safe, viable country, operating in cooperation within the world community, where individual citizens can raise their families and prosper.

The Scientology Handbook has a chapter on administrative solutions. If goverments implemented the technology included in this chapter there would have been an improved scene by now, five years later.

If this seems unreal to you, read the chapter. It is so sensibe and basic, that when it applies, it works. Period.

Ahhh!

Scientology Handbook
09.03.06 (11:43 pm)   [edit]
I was reading the Communication chapter of the Scientology Handbook tonight and was struck by how simple yet effective the technology is.

If you have ANY difficulty communicating with anyone (and who doesn't!) I really suggest you look this chapter over.

If you actually give this technology a try you will find you can use it to make your life so much better!

Trans-Siberian Goodwill Tour
09.03.06 (2:18 am)   [edit]
There's a really interesting story on the activities of the VMs in Perm on the Scientology Volunteer Ministers web site.

In the few weeks they've been out they have certainly developed great lines to the people of the area!

This is Scientology by David Miscavige
09.01.06 (1:12 pm)   [edit]
Mr. David Miscavige is the ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology religion.

Two years ago he gave an incredible presentation on Scientology at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood, California.

The speech was so comprehensive and expressed so much about what the religion is and what Scientologists do that a recording of it was made into a DVD anyone can purchase.

Since there is so much interest in the Scientology religion, one of the best ways a person fairly new to the subject can find out what Scientology consists of is to purchase and watch this DVD. I think if you watch this speech, what Mr. Miscavige says will make a lot of sense to you, because Scientology is a very practical religion.
